DOEACC is a joint scheme of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Department of Information Technology (formerly Department of Electronics (DOE)), Government of India implemented by DOEACC Society set up in 1994.

Various computer software courses implemented in DOEACC are listed below with their equivalence for purpose of employment:

  • O Level - Foundation level course
  • A Level - Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications
  • B Level - MCA
  • C Level

Besides the above, an IT Literacy course namely, Course on Computer Concepts (CCC).

The DOEACC courses proved very popular and after a decade of incorporation of the DOEACC Society, there were around half a million enrolments from all over the country. Sadly, there were only half-hearted attempts at building student communities leaving the students to cope with their preparation, issues, doubts and frustrations in an isolated and disorganised way.

DOEACCMantra is an online community and was founded by Vidyaweb to bridge this gap. Ever since, DOEACCMantra has been successfully bringing together the DOEACC aspirants and alumni scattered across the country for addressing common issues mainly through active interaction and cooperation amongst DOEACCians.

Besides the general forums on the site filled with collective intelligence and experience of DOEACCians, learning resources have been organised paper-wise under each DOEACC Level (Category).

DOEACCMantra is committed to be the launch-pad for a rewarding career and continuing learning for every DOEACCian.

The official site of the DOEACC Society is http://www.doeacc.edu.in
